Who we are

FeedWisp ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered optimization service for Google Merchant Center product feeds, available at feedwisp.ai and app.feedwisp.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it. Contact: contact@feedwisp.ai.

FeedWisp is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Igor Shokarev, registered in Georgia (the country). Registered address: Bukia Street, adjacent to No. 1, Kutaisi, Georgia.

Data we collect

Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, used to create and operate your FeedWisp account.

Merchant Center data. When you connect a Merchant Center account, you grant us access via Google's Merchant API (OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content). We read your account issues, product data, product statuses, and marketing performance metrics (such as clicks and impressions) to diagnose and optimize your feed and to measure the effect of our changes. If you activate the service, we also write optimized product data to a supplemental feed in your account — never to your original feed — and adjust your account's feed-priority settings so the supplemental feed takes effect; the product data in your original feed is never changed.

Product page content. To improve product data quality, we may fetch publicly available pages of your own store (respecting robots.txt) to extract product details.

Usage data. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to operate the service. On this marketing website (feedwisp.ai) we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors find and use the site; see "Cookies" below. The app itself (app.feedwisp.ai) uses only essential cookies required for sign-in.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in to the app (these cannot be switched off — the service does not work without them), and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics on the marketing site only, used to measure site traffic and marketing performance. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (opens in a new tab) without affecting the service.

How we use your data

We use the data above to provide the service you signed up for and — in aggregated, de-identified form only — to improve these features for all customers (see "Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure" below):

  • diagnosing your Merchant Center account health,
  • generating optimized product titles, descriptions, and attributes,
  • writing those optimizations to a supplemental feed you can remove at any time,
  • monitoring the outcome of every change and reverting harmful ones,
  • sending you service notifications and summaries by email.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

FeedWisp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (opens in a new tab), including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide and improve the feed-optimization features you see in the product; we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide those features, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice; we do not use it for advertising; and no humans read it except with your explicit consent, for security, to comply with law, or when aggregated for internal operations.

To generate optimizations, product data from your feed (titles, descriptions, attributes) and content from your public product pages is processed by the AI provider listed below, solely to produce the optimized values you see in the product. Your Google account data (name, email) and OAuth tokens are never shared with the AI provider. This provider processes the data under an agreement that prohibits it from using it to train its models, and we do not use your raw Google user data to train or fine-tune any AI or machine-learning model of any kind ourselves; the only cross-account use of this data is the aggregated, de-identified statistics described below.

To keep improving the optimization features for every customer, we compute aggregated, de-identified statistics across accounts — for example, which product categories benefit most from description rewrites, or how often our optimizations resolve a given Merchant Center issue type. These statistics are derived from product and performance data but are aggregated across many merchants before use, and the aggregated output does not identify any individual product, merchant, or account. They are used only inside FeedWisp to improve the features described above and are never shared or sold.

Where your data lives (subprocessors)

We use the following service providers to operate FeedWisp:

  • Supabase — application database and authentication
  • Google Cloud Platform — backend hosting
  • Vercel — website and app hosting
  • Upstash — short-lived caching
  • Google (Gemini API) — AI processing of product data for optimization
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Paddle — payment processing (merchant of record for subscriptions)
  • Google Analytics — marketing-site traffic measurement

Data is processed in the European Union and the United States. Each subprocessor is bound by a data-processing agreement, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where they apply to international transfers.

Data retention

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked by you at any time from your Google account settings; disconnecting your account or asking us to delete it removes them on our side. While your account is active we retain your Merchant Center data (scan results, optimization history, audit log) for as long as needed to operate the service. If you connect an account but never activate the service, we delete cached Merchant Center data and stored tokens within 30 days of your last activity. After a subscription ends, we archive optimization data for 180 days so you can reactivate with your history intact, then delete it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data at any time by writing to contact@feedwisp.ai. Removing the FeedWisp supplemental feed — one click in the app — reverts every change we ever made to your Merchant Center account.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies to our processing of your personal data. Our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (operating the service), our legitimate interest in securing and improving the service, and your consent where we ask for it. In addition to the rights above, you may restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where your data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, the transfer is protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are additionally encrypted at the application layer. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

We will post any changes on this page and, for material changes, notify you by email before they take effect.
